My favorite dessert that I eat often is Mousse.  I don't think I could describe it enough how much I like it.  It just tastes so good and it's so easy to make.  I would just like to thank my friend, Lexi, for introducing it into my life.  So below is the recipe on how to make.  This may be the only real processed food that I eat regularly.

First POST!!

So I thought it would be a good idea to start a blog of our many creations that we have in the kitchen.  Plus it gives me something to look forward to other than studying.

A little about us...

I am currently a medical student studying for the USMLE Step 1 and my love is an IT professional.  We currently live in Chicago, IL.  Transplanted from Atlanta, GA.  He is the vegan and I am the low carber.  We initially didn't have the diets we have now when we met.  I started low carb a while back to lose some weight and lost about 20 lbs. in 3 months.  Needless to say, he was pleasantly surprised.  He chose to become vegan about 3 years ago while doing his January fast with his family.  Every January his family fasts from meat for the entire month.  I partook in this one time and now, I find it even more difficult to accomplish as a low carber.  Maybe after some time, we can merge the two and become a super diet.

So throughout this blog will include some low carb and some vegan recipes that we have tried and failed.  And we will include ideas of improvements that can be made.  We appreciate any feedback that anyone may have as well.
